Rachel WALSH-WILLIAMS – Screenwriter
Congrats to Rachel Walsh-Williams whose screenplay Tokyo Ghost won Best Thriller Script at the recent Cannes World Film Festival and earlier won Best TV Pilot for Tokyo Ghost at the LA Under The Stars Film Festival.
She has adapted Tokyo Ghost into a tv series which is now being submitted and the other 2 screenplays will follow shortly as she develops a career as a fulltime screenwriter.
Additionally she recently received a Commendation by the British Independent Film Festival @filmfestivalguild as a double Gold Lister for her short screenplay L’Avocat and her latest Brighton Road. The Gold List celebrates 20 screenplays of outstanding quality.
Rachel has an MA in Screenwriting from London Film School (University of Warwick) and is also a graduate of Cambridge (MPhil Japanese Studies), University of Warwick (BA Art & Italian), University of London (MA Japanese Studies) and courses with Harvard University (Japanese Art & Culture). She speaks Japanese, French and Italian.
