TIM CONRAD, AWARD WINNING WRITER / DIRECTOR JOINS THE SMA CREW. CURRENTLY DEVELOPING A FEATURE THE CARETAKER AND 8-PART TV SERIES THE MORNING AFTER.
Tim has written and directed adventure, crime and history drama documentaries for all major UK and US broadcasters, including BBC, ITV, Sky, Channel 5, Fox, Discovery, National Geographic, Hulu, History Channel and more.
His award winning drama shorts include: Hotel, for Oyster Films, which was shortlisted for an Oscar for Best Live Action Short, and won Best Drama at the LA Shorts Festival; Circles, which was awarded the Grand Prixe at France’s Wattrelos Film Festival, and a Silver Medal at Belgium’s Festival Mondial du Cinema; and Birds of Prey, again for Oyster Films, which had a UK cinema release, was selected for Edinburgh and Berlin, and won the Silver Bear at Austria’s Festival of Nations. He also directed 15 episodes of The Mystic Knights for Saban Entertainment and Fox TV. The show went to No 1 in the US.
